Today Wednesday the 21st of October I did IBD GELS on a clients toes for the first time, I really enjoyed this because it was something different, I got a tip of the client so she obviously loved the final result.

Friday the 16th of October I didn't do a client I was the Salon Manageress so I went to get equipment that the other students needed to work on there clients, I also made sure everywhere was tidy that we had enough towels and everything was put away in the correct places.

Wednesday the 14th of October I went on Reception and so did Aleisha and we both answered the phone, used the booking system, used the card machine and the till and we also arrived the clients, was a different experience than working in the Salon.

Friday the 2nd of October I did an Eve Taylor Facial on a client, and we also had some Spanish girls in our class that day to see what Beauty is like here in England they did a hand and arm massage and a file and polish on our clients, was a nice experience meeting the Spanish Beauty Students to see what different treatments they do.

On Friday the 25th of September we did a Macmillan coffee morning and we raised £2200 with in the whole college, and we also did charity waxing for the Macmillan coffee morning. In the actually salon we had clients in but unfortunately mine didn't turn up but we still had a great turn out and we was offering the clients cake, tea, coffee and juices, and some of us offered a £2 file and varnish to the hair dressers clients.

Wednesday 23rd Of September-IBD GEL NAILS

Me, Verity, Aleisha, Katie and Karolina did gel nails on Wednesday the 23rd of September in the Heart Space but unfortunately nobody wanted gel nails done so we have now changed the time to 12:00-3:00 so then we work over lunch so hopefully we will get some students to attend.

On Wednesday the 16th of September I did an Eve Taylor facial, this was my first client of my Level 3 Beauty Therapy course, I advised her to come back in about 3 weeks for another facial and she also gave me a tip so she obviously enjoyed the treatment I did for her on that day.

Introduction

As part of my level 3 qualification i am under going 10 weeks of work experience i will be blogging each week about everything i have done in this session and also what I do on a Friday in the commercial Salon.
